I have found the change definitely worth the upgrade, the improvement in overall quality will show with that F2.8 lens. Ive only got the kit 18-135mm, but will be looking at something along the F1.4 lines later in the year.

Well I was originally going to buy the 18-55mm kit lens, but after thinking of the cost of my next lens (55-250mm) I thought I might as well buy the 18-135mm just for that extra reach as a walkabout option. I managed with a 18-200mm sigma in Rome last month so thought 135mm isn't much difference...

Just took delivery of my new 70d with 18-135mm STM lens. Was a little worried about the jump in cost compared to my 600d but after 5 mins use totally happy with my purchase. The rotary wheel is a little soft in its operation, but that will come more familiar with use.

Well my 70d arrived today and wow what a camera, I pushed for the 135mm stm lens in the end. I am so glad I did it's amazing quality and the feel from the camera is well worth the extra over my original 600d. Just need to charge the battery. Thanks for the recommendations everyone.

Thanks for recommendation of the quick strap thingy. Just ordered one looks perfect can't wait for the camera to arrive tomorrow so I can properly test it togther.

Was worried about warranty and charger plugs. Plus wanted it sooner than was expected.

Slight update, moved away from Panamoz and Hdew so had to downsize on the lens to the 18-55mm. Brought from Wex Photographic but it comes with UK model and Sandisk Extreme SD and case. I will look to purchase possibly 55-250mm to fill the range gap I have now created. I'm also going to be...

I've had the 450d first then the 600d and now 70d. Hoping this upgrade will be something major. I've read loads of reviews on line and it sounds impressive. It's a shame I've sold all my lenses so the 18-135mm will be my only one for the moment. So will look to here for guidance in a few months...

Think your right. Just need to sell mine to MPB then buy the 135mm kit from Panamoz. They seem geninune enough and price seems right for a grey import.

I will be part exchanging it. I have the standard 55-250mm, 70-300mm IS USM. Sigma 18-200mm and kit original 18-55mm. I like the 600d but just fancied something better. Low light is a problem but I know that's the lens fault rather than the camera.

Im thinking of upgrading my DSLR to the newer 70d what are peoples thoughts is it worth it. I have a selection of lower end lenses but want something better.
