Just a quick update - I e-mailed support last week and they said early this week, so I gave it until Wednesday and as the error was still there I e-mailed them back and got this reply Thanks for your e-mail. To me it looks like they don't have a clue what the error is or how to fix it :bang:

That's how lightroom works - it's not actually changing the original file at all, but saving the actions that you have applied to the image. When you do a Save As or Export it saves then image as a new file complete with all the edits that you have applied.

I've never had any trouble with battery life on the 350D. Maybe see how you go before spending the extra on a grip?

Fantastic camera - my first step into the world of DSLR and I'm still using it. In fact I picked up a second hand one off e-bay as a second body for sports shooting (couldn't spring for an upgrade and thought I'd stick with what I knew) That's a good price as well - hope you've snatched his had...

I've been getting the same message, but not had time to hunt out an answer. Thanks for posting up their response - I'll keep trying and hopefully drop lucky when they have sorted the issue.
