I like No 1.
No 2 doesn't really work for me.
Little tip your images are too small - I had to look at them on flickr.
You can post upto at lease 800 x 800 on TP which makes it easier to review.
Hi Omar - Yes definitely nippy - my little one seems to have done a runner - camera shy maybe :)
May be I will see some more when I come to Scotland later in the year.
Sorry for the delay been off line for a while.
Stuart
Me to - thanks Frank
Thanks Spike - Yep but he had his bath round the other side of the rock - bit shy maybe :)
I have also borrowed a spare body to check if it is the body or lens with the AF problem ... probably me
Thanks pmaccyd, this was my first and we have lived in the same house...
And it came back today...
I went out three times today to look for my little Goldcrest – no luck until 17:49.
They are nippy and jittery hopping between the tree, the rocks and the waterfall “ponds”.
Taken with Sigma 150-500@500mm (AP) F8, Auto ISO, Hand held OS=1
1)...
I nearly always have my camera to hand – mind you my hands and arms were covered in mud at this time (real camouflage) so would I have grabbed my camera – yep :)
Finger Crossed – heard him today but could see him anywhere apparently they like the tops of conifers hanging under...
Our pond wasn't right so this weekend I set about sorting it out.
I found there was a tear in the liner just above water-level and of course just where the waterfall is - so everything had to come out.
I lifted to damaged part of the liner, did away with the sump and fitted a presurised...
Thanks All - Not not under warranty :(
About 3 weeks lead time - I am not sure if they have taken into account how many bank holidays we are about to have;)
Hi All,
I live in Kent/SE London.
Can anyone recommend a good place to get a Sigma 150-500 lens serviced?
I would prefer to take it somewhere but I don't mind if I have to send it away.
The lens focus just seems a bit soft, dispite using AF Fine Tuning on the cameral, so I want it checked/setup...
I was surprized at the amount of fringing in No2.
One difference between the two methods is in PSE7 you can work back and forth with the changes. With the Nikon pre-process you set the controls and think the image is then processed in one hit.
