Thanks for the insight Jeff, I must admit I was surprised by how well lightroom denoise coped with a couple of images, about 15 seconds seems to be average to denoise one of my images, I have no idea if that's good or poor.

A question for thoise who know better than me (which is probably everyone to be fair) I have only ever used Lightroom for editing my images. I have just bought an OM-1 to have a play with. Hi Trev, yes got it back last week, they replaced the sensor and now all is good.

Caveat Emptor as they say, I'll stick to more mainstream dealers in future. ;)
