Help! Are you allowed to sell here?

I came here with the same question. I used to be what I'd call "active" on here but it was over a decade ago :-) How time flies. I now don't own much except an Olympus micro four thirds. I've just bought a budget zoom for it and was thinking my primes are wasting their time with me in the bag...

Anyone got a Ricoh GR then?

The GR is the best camera I've ever owned. Handles well. Always with me. Outstanding quality. It's almost annoying how well it does what it does as I find it hard to justify using my other gear or giving in to any more gear acquisition syndrome (other than longer focal lengths where needed...

    Olympus OM-D E-M10

Agreed it doesn't make much sense when he says "Noise reduction: Auto, Noise filter: Off" and "Gradation Normal, Saturation, Contrast and Sharpness set to default "0". Image Setting Natural, Auto White Balance with Warm Color OFF. " When none of these matter for RAW. You could always just...

    Olympus OM-D E-M10

Reading the comments on that link, noise reduction was on auto which probably gets rid of hot pixels. Noise filter (the usual NR people think of) was off.

    Olympus OM-D E-M10

I've got a black one too! Along with black Oly 45 and 75mm. I'd like to complete the prime set with a 17mm but I can't justify it as my Ricoh GR is my walkabout camera of choice. p.s. don't have any samples in my sig links as they are mostly wildlife with a DSLR.

park cameras in stock? not. resolved! good service.

Thanks all, sounds like I've just been unlucky. They've said they will try to honour my order so I'll just have to wait a week or two and see. Just frustrating after days of searching and thinking I'd found the right gear/deal.

Yeah hope so. I suppose it could be an honest mistake.

park cameras in stock? not. resolved! good service.

I found an M43 lens I wanted for a price I could afford on parkcameras so I ordered. It said "in stock" and ready to dispatch. I've just got an email saying actually no it isn't in stock and we'll confirm the price when we get it. Is this common for them? Very dissapointed. Also they're...

Undecided Best Zoo For Big Cat Photography

WHF is amazing. I've been twice and a trip I did there thanks to TP a few years back started my whole journey in wildlife photography. I just wish it wasn't so far for me to get to!

    "No processing"

Surely the simple answer to the original question (assuming that's what we're still talking about) is that neither post processing or straight out of camera is right or wrong. I personally find that there are quite a lot of straight out of camera people who seem to believe they are doing...

Canon 300mm mkii vs mki hand holdable?

Thanks Stewart :-) Yeah that head looks light weight. So I'll either go straight on the monopod or use stronger head. I have a 498 RC4, just was planning on using that for my backup camera. No problem.

Canon 300mm mkii vs mki hand holdable?

Had a look at my monopod and turns out it has a simple head on (not a ball one). I think I'll leave it on just for the convenience of a quick release. Ah actually second thoughts, it's a Manfrotto 234rc with a 2.5 kg weight limit. I think that's pushing it for a camera plus 300mm 2.8.
