Took the plunge and got myself a D90 body for £280 and a Nikon 18-55 VR AF-S DX for around £60. Decision in the end seemed to fall on quality and to build on from there.
To get into birding, will save up for a decent lens eg 70-300mm or something which is cheap but has had good reviews...
Yeah, but I know that would only cover the Kits lens size and not a decent size lens for birdwatching etc.
That would come later after much begging and borrowing. :)
Would say about £300.00 or so, looking at used and new.
Have a Sony A230 but want to upgrade and switch to Canon or Nikon and looking to do bird photography and wildlife sometime in the future.
