Just bought a Canon 5D MKIV from Cotswold cameras and the service so far has been very good. Ordered the camera and within 6 days it was delivered. Came with an English plug and manual. Having spoken with David before purchase regarding warranty, he assured me they use A J Johnstone of Glasgow...
To be honest nothing really requiring a "need" for an upgrade (is that wrong?) I've had it a few years now and my photography has improved in that time also. In many ways full frame is more desirable because I do struggle at times to get everything in the shot I would like. Taking a couple of...
In a bit of a quandary, thinking of upgrading my Canon 700D and don’t know what to choose from.
I would like a significant upgrade and so far have identified the 80D, 7D MKII and 6D MKII.
I take mainly sea and landscape shots often using long exposure. The 80D seems like quite a good upgrade...

Instead of a UV filter why not try the Hoya 77mm Pro1 Digital Protector Filter, its less than £20 (at current time on Amazon) and is really good quality for the price.

Ive been using an Amazon compare site and at times ordering from a european outlet in order to get the cheapest deals and by the sounds of it, quickest deliveries. So far the delivery has been quick (within a week even from Europe) and often cheaper than ordering from Formatt themselves. As...
What do you guys tend to take photographs of when there are no clouds in the sky, seems my seascape pics always seem lacking when its just an empty space above. Finding I am losing some inspiration and becoming frustrated as I seek to better myself

Could somebody explain which order to place ND filters in the holder, is it the graduated filter closest to the lens followed by the ND filter or otherway around, does it even matter?

Is there much difference between the "standard" Hitech geaduated filters and the firecrest. (I know the firecrest is supposed to be very neutral) Not sure whether to shell out the extra or not?
So what you are saying is that the crop sensor output image (print) will be of a lower quality (same lens. camera pixel count etc) than an FF output print or am I reading it all wrong what you have said above?
