I had a blazing row with a jessops store manager a few weeks back when I was in the market for a tripod.
I had all the tripod and head lined up on the till and being scanned by the assistant when I noticed that there was a "Prices Matched" clipboard on the counter with my EXACT tripod and head...
I don't really know how long I'll need as I've never done any long exposure photography before.
But I think I'll need a couple of minutes as least as it's not actually a crowd shot per-se it's a shot at ground level where people will be passing between the camera and the subject.
wouldn't an IR filter give a weird black and white effect?
As from the IR shots I've seen previously it's not quite what I'm after...
Also a couple of hours is more than I'm looking for, I'm trying to get some-one to sit still in the middle of it, so I think more than a couple of minutes will...
Wondering if anyone had any reccomendations for this?
I'm looking for something to fit to my sigma 24-70 to lengthen my exposure time long enough to get a pretty transparent motion blur of people going past the camera during the day.
I'm having a bit of a problem actually finding any filters...
No, I'm going to do some comparison shots with/without at some point.
It is the sigma converter, was a tripod shot and 1/800th anyhow!
Kinda dissapointed in a way as for over £600 worth of gear it's a bit... less than I'd hoped for.
I guess I'll use the 70-200mm nude for most of the time...
Been having a play around with this setup and I don't know whether it's something I'm doing but I don't seem to be getting the clarity I'd like
Looks ok there, but if you click on it to get the hi-res version and then zoom in, it's almost as if there's a haze over the whole shot...
I'm shooting...
