I agree that the 24-70 is more a bread and butter shot lens and there's the reason its so popular. it just doesn't do much on the bokeh or angles and leaves me unimpressed most of the time. I have some really nice shots with it now and again. the 16-35 would deliver the type of images people...

Primes = best image quality and faster glass but its flexibility that would be an issue for me. I would like to work with primes more ...one day
