Sorry i wasn’t clear. Bb focusing wont affect this setting. This is about AF confirmation - I think it’s in drive / release settings

In your settings there's a way to set the priority of the shutter button, either release or focus. At the moment, it sounds like yours is set to focus, change this to release and the camera will fire without focus confirmation

There's a photo of his camera on the site.... I think it's a H6D 100c - if so, I believe the sensor is a full frame MF rather than the crop of the X2D and Fujifilm etc. but I could be mistaken

Been there done that too... I sold my nikon gear and kept the canon stuff for sport / action. I went for the x1d and loved it, but it was hopeless. Thankfully it the sensor broke under warranty and I switched to the gfx 100 and I can't rate it high enough. I love the blad and how it looks and...

Fixation (owned by wex) are meant to be good… but given their it issues atm may want to give them a miss . Any reason you’re avoiding Nikon uk?

Looks like it's gone... no idea how cheap it was. But I ordered a Canon 300mm 2.8 is I from mpb with a tiny bit of fungus for less than 500, about 3 years ago or so. I was surprised when it showed up!

Likewise, although the medium format gear is huge, the images are spectacular. Just wish I could afford a full frame mf set up ...

I’ve never had any success with 3rd party chargers for the en el18 batteries, however MPB have a mh26 (no need for the 26a imo) for £79 the last time I looked. If you’re desperate that’s your best bet, ironically, MPB are based in Brighton

Neither d5 or 6 support charging by usb on the camera body. You'll need the mh26a charger
