    Which lens for astrophotography?

My entire collection of northern lights was shot with a 24mm, and there's nothing wrong with my collection. Only a few times have I wished for a wider angle. I found 24mm to be a bit limiting for the Milky Way, though..

    Beginner Moving water?

I think 1/3 is enough to show movement in a waterfall. It would be nice to see your results. An alternative to the 6-stop ND (although, I think this is an excellent recommendation), is to simply wait for it to get darker. Consider your distance from the waterfall. If you are far away from a...

Beginner Cameras for high quality videos?

Canon 5D MKIII official owners/users thread, anything related to the 5D MKIII

Has anyone tried the Magic Lantern firmware on their Canon DSLR? Although there is a risk, the benefits are great. I was able to do focus-stacked, HDR time-lapses with my Canon EOS 5D mark II.

    HDR vs Graduated NR

Have you tried the Magic Cloth Technique? I started out with HDR, but it was real work to get them to look like real photos (also I ran out of memory often). When I couldn't afford a set of Graduated filters, I just bought an ND filter so that I could use a cloth to balance the sky and ground...
