    Canon AE-1 Program Issues

Thanks Guys, I'd looked on YouTube and was struggling to see anything specifically for the AE-1 program. I had seen the MIR page, but had hoped for some user experience. Will post up some details to let you know how I get on.

    Canon AE-1 Program Issues

I sold my Canon 30d and lenses about 18 months ago because at the time I couldn't warrant having so much value tied up in something that I rarely used. I found sometimes that although I wanted to take a camera out with me I didn't want the bulk that comes with a DSLR and all of it's accessories...

Canon 30d & 28-135 is usm lens combo issues?

Well I'm happy to know that it isn't just me and that there isn't anything wrong with the camera. I think I'll take your advice and just get a few more lenses for the arsenal. I'll upgrade the body when the 30d eventually dies on me (which may never happen given they're reliability). I'd...

Canon 30d & 28-135 is usm lens combo issues?

Yeh he had a new entry level type Nikon, but the colour representation was spot on. I think he's since upgraded to a 7000d and getting good results. I'm glad to see your images, but why is it that the colours aren't realistic on these mid-level cameras? I don't mind post processing them, but...

Canon 30d & 28-135 is usm lens combo issues?

Hi Guys, Thanks for the feedback. I shoot in RAW, so manipulation and correction is easy enough (if a little time consuming). I wouldn't say that my shots are particularly over exposed and I do have a basic understanding of my manual settings, although I'm not that practiced. Me and my...

Canon 30d & 28-135 is usm lens combo issues?

Hi All, I was wondering if anyone can highlight what I'm doing wrong with my settings or kit combo. I get really frustrated with the results my kit gives me (bad workman always blames his tools ;)). Most of my photos lack the depth of colour and saturation that some of my fellow photography...

What could be wrong with this lens?

Currently the highest bidder. If I did win it, I'd want to get that AF working. If I couldn't then it would probably go back on the bay.

What could be wrong with this lens?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180571067998 Here it is - What do you reckon? If it cost £162 to repair it it's hardly worth it for this lens as s/h value is around £180, but if it only needs a clean then bit of a bargain.

What could be wrong with this lens?

it's an EF-S 17-85MM IS USM. I think you're right, it's under £60 at the moment and ends this evening so perhaps worth a punt? Any ideas if it's possible to have it serviced/cleaned and at what cost?

What could be wrong with this lens?

Morning All, Just had a scout around eBay and found a lens I'd like for a pretty good price. The only problem is that the AF on the lens isn't working; s/he says that it keeps hunting. They've also said the there are a few spots of dust in the lens, is this what could be causing the...

Have I bought the wrong polarizing filter?

Well... I usually shoot in auto (i know, i know) when I'm just taking snaps, but I do shoot in RAW when I want to be a little more arty. I like taking photos with long exposures. Like these for example: Eden Project - Motorway Lights - Lots of processing to enhance reds/whites: Hope you...

Have I bought the wrong polarizing filter?

Right, so I'd best sell the linear one then and get a circular one instead. Doing well so far lol. Cheers for the top tips guys.

Have I bought the wrong polarizing filter?

I've had a little play the evening and found that the canon seems to be focusing ok, the shutter time has been altered though (but that'll be the same for both linear and circular and can be corrected?) Not entirely sure what the metering does, best do a quick google.

Have I bought the wrong polarizing filter?

Hi Everyone, After going to the Eden project and getting some rather bland photos (see below) I decided to get myself a polarizing filter to enhance the colours a little. I jumped straight in and bought a Linear Hoya Polarizing filter for my Canon 30D, now after an hour or so on Google...

Taking photos @ The Eden Project?

Thanks for the advice guys. So are we saying 'pre-heat' the camera a little before use?
