Ok ive started to use my iphone more and more when out and about, i simply have not been able to fathom how to simply ' move' the originals from the iphone to Lightroom classic, i don't sync with icloud as this has historically created duplicates everywhere i can never delete and thought this...

hum clear as mud - the update has appeared in my downloads, BUT can you update to lightroom classic cc (as its called) and also download lightroom CC .. i assume you can use both?!

sorry for not being up to date - synology i think it will have to be .. working locally on the mac - do the edits then move the files to the synology - which should then back up to hubic... now to find some guides!!

Yes this is the problem , i cant install the desktop drive as ive only got a 256ssd but about 3tb to sync.. on the mac just cant seem to work out how i can upload the data only from a usb drive (their web client wont do folders and max's out at 5gb.. ) any other suggestions? i cant be the only...

You will be fine with your baggage - one thing to ensure is batterys are correctly stored in cases. If you are worried you may be over weight ensure to stick a lens in a coat pocket! or even a body.. ive done this in the past - sometimes carrying and traveling with a jacket even if not needed...
