he shoots pretty much on location, in a hall next to his workshop. But he couldnt leave them in there so he would have to be constantly set them up & take them down so yeah maybe the ones you suggested might be a better idea :) would the 430 EX II be powerful enough?

the max would be around £300, would prefer something nearer £200. He doesn't have a flash at the moment, just the camera body & standard lens. & he's already got a tripod. Thanks for the suggestions, will take a look at them now :)

My dad has a Canon 450d, he mainly uses it for taking photo's of antique's such as secretaire's, tables, wardrobes etc. His Birthdays coming up & was thinking of getting him something for his camera & thought about something to help with the lighting, however i don't really know anything...

im struggling to find a good example of what i want it for, however ive been looking at examples of photos taken with the sigma 10-20 & i think it could be very useful, however im struggling to find it for my budget, both on here & ebay it seems to be around 300 :(

Thanks for the quick reply :) some of the spaces in my model that i need to photograph can be quite small & im needing to take photo's of internal perspectives as well as external shots. I'll try find you an example. I already have a tripod & will definitely be using that :)
