    Which Lens for Hong Kong

OK, well managed to do that with my previous idea of getting a lens for a friend that was looking to buy anyway...he gets it a little cheaper, i can buy in HK at cheaper prices when i know what i want! Heavily leaning towards the 16-35 F4L IS now, the price difference is much smaller over there.

    Which Lens for Hong Kong

I'll be living in Wan Chai for 6 months, so it's not reallllly a trip as such where i'm worred about carrying stuff. I want to be able to go out at night/whenever and get some amazing landscapes, which the EOS-m won't qutie do as well as the 5D3! I've already downsized from a 1DS3, the 5D3...

    looking for a car rig

it's collapsable with screw lock (think gitzo mono/tripods), 5 section with a minimum OD of 20mm, so id imagine much bigger than any fishing pole I've seen. Also, remember the kit also consists of manfrotto suction cups, magic arm and 3 super clamps, you're looking at the best part of £300 just...

    looking for a car rig

Hey, I PM'd you but ill put it on here too: I'm currently in a similar situation to you, and am putting together a car rig atm. I am having custom made carbon fibre poling to keep weight down and rigidity up. It looks like I'll be needing to buy a minimum of 20 so am gauging interest...
