    Fuzzy Images

Thanks for the tip, I export at a lower res for when I'm posting on Instagram as I know it compresses it to around 74/75% anyway. Will do the same for Flickr, might save me some storage capacity too

    Fuzzy Images

Hey guys, When I download images from Flickr in "large" size and then post them on here I'm noticing some IQ loss. Would appreciate it if someone could let me know how they get their images onto here? I tend to be active on my lunch break at work so I don't have my Lightroom catalogue available...

    Tripod

Thanks for the recommendations, will add them to my watch list. The gimbal head can come at a later date as first and foremost I will be doing light trails & errr..."creative" landscapes in motorsport which won't include panning.

    Tripod

I've been looking at Tripods for one to take with me to shoot a 24 Hours race (spectator) as I want to get some light trail shots at night. The problem is my budget is relatively low. I do have the added benefit of enjoying shooting wildlife & I shoot automotive with light painting, so a good...

    Crtique My Website

I do indeed, though I'm not using the full extent of it! I'm still very much a beginner on Lr and only discovered about 4 months ago that having subscription to Adobe doesn't limit me to just Lightroom, I thought I was just paying for that, then I discovered the powers of Photoshop. Maybe the...

I love the look of that, simple but effective. I have been doing some research the past couple of days and noticed many photographers go with a simplistic look. I've been enjoying looking at them when they are simple and when I do find a more advanced site I tended not to spend as much time...

Beginner Selling your work - Motorsport Photos

The weekend warrior is what I aim to be too. I don't want my whole life to revolve around making money off Motorsport as that is when it will no longer be fun to be a part of. But don't get me wrong I still want to be a professional individual and treat my photography as a business. As Simon...

Beginner Selling your work - Motorsport Photos

Thanks for the tips, not harsh at all, I've only been in the game just over a year, I'm more so asking the questions for later down the line than the now, just getting all the help and information I can so that I can make the best possible start. My keeper rate isn't high but I feel I do get...

Beginner Selling your work - Motorsport Photos

I do, and it kinda sucks. It's a vicous loop. To get media pass you need to be accredited, but to be accredited you need to have previous work to show the event organiser/circuit owner, but to have work to show you need to have work published, but to be published you need to have permission from...

Beginner Selling your work - Motorsport Photos

Thanks for the reply, so would you think it might be worth me going and asking if they would like to see some of my images, you've gotta start somewhere to get accredited right? And this could be a quick way to earn money straight away

Thank you for the advice, I never thought of it like that but it does make perfect sense. Every page should be accessible from the next. Thank you for explaining further

    Bempton Cliffs

Good to know, thanks guys. That morning mist looks challenging but I would actually love the challenge of getting an "animal in its environment" shot of some of the seabirds! Maybe this weekend I head there for the evening instead of having to get up at 3am!

    Bempton Cliffs

This sounds like a stupid question but I'll ask anyway. I've been a few times to Bempton and contemplating going again this weekend (2hr drive) but I've tried getting up early for the morning sun to be on the cliffs. Which is ok for the cliff shots but the birds in flight ones not so much due...

    Crtique My Website

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to look at my website. I'd firstly like to apologise for not being able to get back on here sooner, I do have a fulltime job and have just been busy this past week. As some people may have thought I am definitely not ignoring you I simply have not had...

    Crtique My Website

Hi guys, Little background before you go into it. I'm an aspiring automotive & motorsport freelance photographer, I've created a website but would really like some people to give their opinions on it. I only have Wix free hosting at the moment as I don't want to waste the money to host some...
