Hi,the lighting is very flat and lifeless - no sparkle.
Studio flash would be better.
Also watches these days are usually shot using focus stacking (combining 3or4 images focused in slightly different places.
Maybe just me ? But the first thing I would have done would have been to completely ignore the Registrar.

Hi, you all seem to be missing the point ! a white dress does not fool the meter into anything.
Light meters are set to measure at an 18 percent grey - if you meter white and do by the meter it will be grey - if you meter black and go by the meter it will be grey.

Well not quite enough said,it's a good all rounder if you own a full frame camera - not so good on a 1.6 crop 24mm would becomes 38.4mm.
I personally prefer the 24 - 70 2.8 for the faster aperture,shallow depth of field - but the lens is at a good price,se if you can test it out first.
The difference is professional equipment over amateur ! the Elinchrom gear is built to be used day in and day out for years no just now and again.
I have been using Elinchrom gear since 1990 and still have and use some kit from then.
