Such locations in London are very hard to find. Or so I thought, until my friend found this amazingly useful site for finding locations. Derelict London... How cool is that?!

I've only tried Photobox. Their photobooks come out really nice quality. The only downside is the slightly inflexible choice of page layouts, which always meant I had to crop my images at one edge or another.

I second the recommendation for 'Light: Science and Magic'. It's excellent. If you're interested in studio lighting, this Photography Studio Lighting blog might also be of interest to you.
