Wow when did engine oil get so expensive

i don't know why you would want to "cheap out" on oil. it's basically the life blood of your engine! had a GT3 customer in a few weeks back for first MOT. car had never been serviced, never had an oil change & didn't want one! Yes it was quite low minleage but its crazy really as a GT3 engine is...

The "fine time piece" owners thread.

i like the story behind this one. i remember there was a Seiko in space with an orange face but i don't know if it made it onto the moon or not. i'm looking for another watch at the moment & this one is now in the running :)

Recommendations to replace the Sigma 17-50mm

Nikkor 17-55m has always been the king of the mid range zooms. Expensive new but a real bargain at used prices. Sharp, contrasty & the blazing fast AF of the Nikkor Pro zooms. i tried a couple of Tamrons first. Second one was OK but focus was slooowww.

What do you think of Instagram ?

it gets people taking & sharing images which is pretty good. Lightfield cameras?

So whatever happened to the Lightfield cameras that were going to make all our kit obsolete? They were all over the internet a few years back & they seem to have just faded away & vanished :tumbleweed:

    Nice bargain..

I have to admit they are heavy. The 445 is way too heavy when loaded which is why i decant into a smaller bag on the day... Yes, sometimes you wish you had one of the other lenses

    Nice bargain..

Looks like an Old School 335, about £275 new nowadays. i know this isn't a new one but it will still last many more years, they almost last forever. good bags. the very best. I bought my first, a 445 in pretty used condition on here & its still going strong about 8 years later. My Mrs thought...
