    Website thoughts?

Thanks for the feedback, I'll take that on board. No, all the prices listed are 'from', i.e. that's a base/lowest price. Plus I don't actually really shoot weddings!

    Website thoughts?

My website actually isn't Wordpress based (asides from the blog itself). In terms of the audience - I tend to drive views from direct links, either through my social media (I have a relatively strong following across Tumblr/Facebook/Twitter) and through word-of-mouth linking for business...

    Website thoughts?

Every now and again I like to get people to comment on my website to see what's working and what's not - and to see if there are any issues I've missed. It's quite hard being objective about a website you've designed yourself, so second opinions are always very helpful. Please take a look and...

New Website Design - Feedback & Constructive Criticism

I'm not entirely sure what you mean in your first point....the site is (obviously) top for that term. The point is that I get 42% of my traffic from referrals - social media, links to my website, advertising etc etc - and 49% directly, i.e. from seeing a link somewhere. And the stats are...

New Website Design - Feedback & Constructive Criticism

Ahh right, a dev version. And thanks for pointing this out. It's not happening for me on my laptop or desktop (both latest 10.8 with Safari and Firefox). I'll check it out on some other systems and have another look at the code...not sure what might be causing it. Odd!

New Website Design - Feedback & Constructive Criticism

'tinite photography' is the company name (it's not just a website name), which I've used for several years now and has served me well. There's no way I could change it because it represents me professionally and has an associated brand identity. It is known by customers and clients that I've...

New Website Design - Feedback & Constructive Criticism

Oh I wasn't aware Mavericks was available yet! That's cool. Are you referring to the change in logo size between the main page and other pages? Or do you specifically see a difference between the blog and other pages (excluding the main page - which does intentionally have a larger logo).

New Website Design - Feedback & Constructive Criticism

Thanks Jean-Paul, Indeed - many of the pages use full page backgrounds, which can take a little while to load. I'll look into seeing if there's anything I can do to improve load times on this. That's interesting on the logo. What browser/system are you running, out of interest? It renders...

    Complete revamp of my website

Already looking much better - good work! To remove comments you'll likely want to remove the comment block from your gallery pages - however, if you're not all that familiar with web coding, probably best to not worry about this one. My name's Jacob - and no problem, glad to help!

    Complete revamp of my website

Overall, it looks quite nice. Some thoughts - 1 - the navigation menus aren't logically divided. You have your main drop down one, and then two links in the top right. The large main menu mostly has links to photos. The two links are to more 'about the photographer' sort of thing. If I were...

New Website Design - Feedback & Constructive Criticism

Thank you! Navigation on portfolio and recent is something I'm looking into - and looking to make as user friendly as possible. It would be really useful if you could be any more specific at all on how you found it? Thanks again!

Tutorial High Pass sharpening - my take on it,

I stumbled on this exact same technique by accident recently myself! I did not realise other people did it as well! And now that I've found it I use it all the time after LR. Not only does it add sharpness, but also really gives an image extra punch.
