    My new DSLR negative scanner.

So I've spent pretty much all day building this and after the very first shot my cameras battery dies! DOH! It's fully adjustable so should be able to work with any lens that will focus between 40 to 120mm infront of it, it attaches by a 49mm filter ring and the first lens I've tried to test...

    MF v's D800

this would have been a better test with fuji pro, ektar has horrible colour casts and I find comes out a bit too grainy - really dont understand the fascination with it!

    Good result from CC imaging

Slide isn't the best choice for bright daylight skies if being blown is a concern It's also an absolute nightmare to scan for sharpness and dynamic range. Where I think it excells is if there's a deep blue sky or on an overcast day, If the light is how it appears in your photos is when I like...

    Hasselblad film camera, which?

Presuming you have no long term plans to add a digital back I would stick with the V series (500cm being the most popular model) if you do want a digi back in the future I believe the 503 is the most suitable model.

    Mind over matter

I used to use a changing bag, now it's just in the bathroom, lights off, towel across the bottom of the door. I managed to get 3 rolls of 120 onto plastic reels in about 3 minutes and it was my first time spooling 120. my spirals are a little bit greasy, which means if they get wet a quick...

OFFICIAL I HAVE A NEW (FILM RELATED) TOY THREAD!!

Haha, I will admit to having a beard, wearing wooly jumpers and obscure tee-shirts. However there's no skinny jeans and my music is mainly motown and cat stevens, which I think just makes me a relic from the 70's as opposed to a full blown hipster

OFFICIAL I HAVE A NEW (FILM RELATED) TOY THREAD!!

I picked up a mint condition boxed Bronica SQ-A with 80mm ps lens, both official bronica close up filters, speed grip, AE prism and a 120 6x6 back all for the princely sum of £235 delivered! Then I realised I needed a WLF and 18mm extension tube. A much less palatable £90!

Thankyou very much :) Yep, these were done with a C3 and the standard 80mm lens I also have the 135mm lens but it just sucks compared to the awesome 80  And yep all scanned using Epson 4490 with epson scan. check out my website, there's loads more on there that are pretty similar...

    Street Portraiture

Nice shot, Lamppost is in a bit of an awkward position, however if this was a stranger then I understand why you didn't want to go re-positioning them everywhere! I've actually been photographing loads of strangers on the street recently with my mamiya C3 TLR and 80mm lens it certainly does...
