Another vote for Capture One. The recent update (v.20) is amazing. Runs very swift (2014 & 2015 MBP's) and multiple outputs at the same time make my life easy. However, I cull in PhotoMechanic. There's nothing faster once you get your head around it.

Bought a new (to me) 5D4 at the beginning of the year (I'm slowly swapping out my 5D3's) - Now everything is cancelled, instead of weddings, it's been pictures of the kids at home. It's having a very gentle warm up before the season gets going........ one day.

Eneloops or Ikea Ladda's. Both are awesome, and the Ikea's are waaaaaay cheaper. :)

Extension tubes. Make any lens a macro. Really good for both short and long lens. Don't buy the main branded ones (Canon ones are insane). I got some Jessops ones second hand for £20. Bloody bargain. :)

Spot on. With regard to glass, as per everyone else, get a 70-200 as a starting point.

I have had a look at the link Mark Godley put up, and if i'm reading this right, then I should just go back to them explaining that as the event was held in a public place, and the images are editorial, I didn't need their permission to take or sell this...
