Your talking tripe mate, D7000 will be just as good as a D300s with the Nikon 18-70mm which is its cheapest or near to cheapest zoom. D300 and D300s are the same minus video and some other tweaks. They are both weather resistant PROsumer bodies. They have 51AF which is awesome for racing...

If we are talking £800 odd though, would i be better switching to a Nikon FM2 and the Nikon 851.4D which will equate to around £900 ? And can use that same lens on my D300s with AF etc ?

Is high iso better on the D7000 than the D300s ? I would have assumed it the other way round due to pixel density ? I find the d300s sucks for high iso, and if i use PS CS5's noise reduction it just makes images look soft.

The MP count is irrelevent the sensor in the D300s and the D90 is the same and is easily good enough for A1 size prints.

I think i just meant "meter accuratly" rather than "spot meter" ! Basically the idea of the rollei is that i can get up close and personal within street photography but because im looking down people wont know im shooting them. Messing around with a handheld meter like a sekonic will ruin this...

Bit confused basically found a Rolleicord TLR F2.8GX but its £3k, are there any others that are manual focus but will spot meter so i dont have to work out how long to expose for in my head ? Any brand will do Thanks
