Thanks - Auto bracket was switched on, the camera was ex display so it must have been switched on before I bought it.
Now switched off and work fine, thanks for your help
Thanks Tom, I don't know what exposure bracketing is but I'll try and find out. I haven't changed any settings except the scenes modes and the time.
Could it be a fault with the camera?
So today I purchased a Panasonic Gx1 and off I went to watch my daughter at gym and take some pictures to see how it performed - a complete and utter let down....now the question is, is it me or the camera

thanks Duncan however I don't think I want the myriad of options and config of a DLSR, I was drawn to the Panasonic as I've read they have a lot of automation that still allows you to produce decent images without having to understand the settings
