Thanks - Auto bracket was switched on, the camera was ex display so it must have been switched on before I bought it. Now switched off and work fine, thanks for your help

Thanks Tom, I don't know what exposure bracketing is but I'll try and find out. I haven't changed any settings except the scenes modes and the time. Could it be a fault with the camera?

So today I purchased a Panasonic Gx1 and off I went to watch my daughter at gym and take some pictures to see how it performed - a complete and utter let down....now the question is, is it me or the camera I'm guessing the lighting wasn't the best as the sun was setting and casting shadows...

thanks Duncan however I don't think I want the myriad of options and config of a DLSR, I was drawn to the Panasonic as I've read they have a lot of automation that still allows you to produce decent images without having to understand the settings
