If you want the HDR "look", Rather than create 3 files, you can try reducing the contrast and blacks to make the image look flat. This is counter intuitive, but is preserves more of the information in the highlights and shadows on the image. Then take that image into your HDR software and apply...

I generally use 3 RAW photos and export from Lightroom to Photomatix- not a big hassle Even so, 1 raw still has a limited dynamic range compared to even 3 JPEG. If you're using HDR to capture something that could be done with 1 shot, then why bother with HDR?

Nice idea... The focus is a little soft on the top...maybe turn down the aperture some... Also, I'd do bounce flash for diffuse it some to soften the shadows some....I think they're distracting....

I use bluehost.com to host my website, and they have many wizards to get stuff up and going such as domain registration etc. You can also run a wizard to install Wordpress if you want to continue to use it as a blogging software.

I think primes are always a good bet...but I don't know that I'd part with my zoom lenses, reason being is that I can't always carry 3 or 4 primes with me.
