I'm trying to experiment with the beta version of PS, but I can't disable the stupid rich tooltips that sit obtrusively over the top of the interface. I've tried the preferences -> tools -> uncheck rich tools route, but it's still there making workflow impossible. Any ideas?

If I shot film I'd shoot high contrast mono and some kind of heavily saturated colour. As I shoot digital, I tend to go with what feels best for the image, but I really like to desaturate most of my images.
I'm sorry, but that statement makes no sense. If tech can be, as you said, used for good or bad then the problem is clearly that some people use it for bad. Doesn't that make the people the problem? If it was only used to further our evolution and solve real-world issues then the tech is good.
Added a few more images to Flickr including this one. I'm struggling a bit more with the idea of the joyful photos. Maybe that'll take off when I can get out again...
