Thank you for replying so quickly. And yes I do feel so stupid. You are totally correct I never thought about that I just assumed... Is there any way to get this post removed or should I just re-register with a different user name so I don't feel so blumming stupid in future...- terrydox

problem with 3/8 adapter
Apologies for having to ask such a question. I have just bought a manfrotto 679b monopod which has a 3/8 and 1/4 screw adapters. OK - how do I get the 3/8 brass adapter off without damaging it please? I just know I am going to feel so dumb and embarrassed by how easy this must be!- terrydox
