    The best cheap 90's 00's 35mm SLRs?

Thanks everyone for your replies, @Teflon-Mike Thanks for much for your great post, sorry it's taken me a little while to reply but it took some time to read your post thoroughly! I posted the thread as I kept seeing Pentax MZ50's, Minolta's, Canon 300's all for around £10 and I was...

    The best cheap 90's 00's 35mm SLRs?

thanks for such a great response! @TheBigYin - my eBay search brings up £150+ but perhaps thats because there are only a few available at present @abdoujaparov - as long as manual options are available i'm happy, auto focus would be nice BUT i have been looking at some old manual Russian...

    The best cheap 90's 00's 35mm SLRs?

Hi All, Seems from looking on eBay etc that the 90's and 00's film SLRs are as cheap as they are likely to get whilst there predecessors seem to be climbing in value. What were the gems amongst the champagne plastic? Do you have any great recommendations from cheap/low cost (less than £50?)...

    Find & delete Jpegs

Of course I have backups, but storage is cheap, IMO it's not worth the time to find and delete duplicates If I had to do this, I would write a bash or Python script and then move not delete files, then check and continue. Doing it manually = human error creeping in.

    Find & delete Jpegs

Doing this would fill me with fear of inadvertently losing stuff, I'd rather buy more storage, it's cheap enough

    Backups and Space

If you go for a NAS I would recommend getting a 4 bay+ even if you don't fill them at first. I've got a 2 bay and ran out of space much faster than expected, as above go with 4+ tb NAS HDDs if you can. Also with synology NASs you can have 2 in different locations sync'd over the net, guess all...

I use Samsung EVO and Sandisk extreme pro and haven't had any problems. Always direct from amazon to "hopefully" avoid the fakes.

    Nikon D3300

Hi Rik, I recently bought a Nikon D3200 as the D3300 has been discontinued - the new model will be called either D3400 or D3500 and should be announced very soon. There's info on Nikon rumours. I got the D3200 second hand from Wex with a 12 month warranty, so far have taken some great shots -...

Beginner Getting back into photography again, new kit advice needed

Thanks for all your very helpful replies, I have bought for a Nikon 3200 in immaculate used condition paired with a VXII (3300 lens). With the 3300 officially discontinued, I thought no point in picking one up until the specs for the 3500 are released. Additionally I'm looking at getting a Sony...

How can two home networks interfere with one another?

I "think" the BT wifi, broadcasts an additional network providing access to other BT users, it's possible neighbours could connect to the stronger signal if the network details were saved to the device. However they should never show on the host network, as I understand BT wifi is essentially a...
