126 Film other than from Ebay?

Yep 126 for an instamatic. I've seen some posts about reloading with 35mm and may give it a go thanks but wanted to test the camera, which was a whole one pound at a local junk shop first!

126 Film other than from Ebay?

I've had a search on here and cannot see any recent threads (prepares to be proven wrong...). Does anyone know of a source of 126 film apart from the odd one that appears on Ebay? Thanks

    Castle Coombe for Race Photography

There is a VSCC event on at Castle Coombe next month that I am considering visiting. As I have never been before and it's a bit if a trek for me I was wondering what the circuit is like for photography? In particular are there debris fences? Any suggestions for good shooting spots would be...

Beginner Dullard Nikon Auto Focus Question

Having always been a Canon user I am clueless on all things Nikon. A friend, looking for her first DSLR, recently bought a Nikon D3300 which seems a perfectly acceptable bit of kit. She has now got a 2nd hand Sigma 70-300 F4 - F5.6 DG and cannot get it to auto focus. My knowledge of Nikons...

    RAM or Faster Processor?

I am looking for a new laptop on which I will be running PS Elements. I have a budget of around £450 and want a 17" screen. For that I have found machines with either 8GB RAM and Intel Core i3 chip 1.9GHz Or 4GB RAM and Intel Core i5 chip 2.6GHz I know, well I have read, that it's easier to...

Just sold my first ever print

Sold my first shots this year as well. Not made much, it has covered my fuel costs to a couple of downhill mountain bike races but as you say it is a great feeling!

    Help using AV mode

I think Babs means "see if that speeds up your shutter speed". Back to basics; if you want to blur the background, create shallow depth of field in other words, then yes, you want to use as wide an aperture as you can so AV mode is a good idea. You say you were at f5 & ISO200. The important...

    Canon lenses / Advise

I would so do you really need 17-85? Could you get away with 28-75? If so I would recommend the Tamron 28-75 F2.8. I have owned one for some months now & have been very pleased with the results. Although you lose a bit of range over the lens you mention I feel this is more than compensated...

How do I take pictures like this?

Fair point, don't want to put down a guy who never asked to have his work on here. However, my comment was more expressing surprise that the OP thought it was a shot worthy of repetition & was asking how to do so. And I still like the 1st one... And I agree you could do the same without...

How do I take pictures like this?

I like the first one but the 2nd at the bus stop looks like it has been snapped on a ****ed student's camera phone.
