I wouldn't worry about the speed. An unreliable 32GB card can mean loss of hundreds of photos down the line.

It should be fine as screen protector is so thin.

Biggest change I notice from the 450D is the much better iso performance and build quality. If you can afford the 7d then get it otherwise 60d will suffice. The 450d however is still a very capable camera and there is very little difference in image quality.

Mine is fine. I also had the 450D before and can't notice any difference. Maybe it's the new blue coating that might make it look dirtier.

I use my 50mm 1.4 on my 60D 90% of the time. I had the 1.8 before and it was just as good.

I would go with the Sandisk. Duracell is probably just a rebranded card of another card maker.

Enjoy the 60D. Charge time flew by for me as I packaged up my 450D to be sold :D

17-50mm is a travel lens.
