I have used C1 to shoot tethered with Phase and Nikon cameras for years. It is by far the most reliable way I have found and I would not consider using anything else at this point. I would give the trial a go, there are lots of good webinars on the Phase one youtube channel that can be helpful.

Pro would fit it fine, but the large will give you a bit more height for a longer lens, its surprising just how much you can fit in to them. Another one to look at might be the new Hadley One which is bigger than the pro but not as tall as the large.

Its a great price, when you consider F-stop are selling it for 340 euros plus delivery.

Amazon have now sent me a second Canon mount lens, not very impressed and suspect that I am never going to get a Nikon lens out of them.

It was a sigma 150-600c, all the order details show it should have been a Nikon lens. Amazon blamed the warehouse

Lens arrived in a normal amazon cardboard box with no padding, looked alright but was a Canon mount and I ordered Nikon so back it goes. Can't say I am overly impressed with Amazon, no offer of replacement or apology just told me to order another if I wanted to try again for a Nikon mount one.

Will be interesting to see what arrives, shall have to give it a proper close inspection and if its not right it will go straight back.

I have just purchased a Red Bull Anja and some other F-Stop bits from Camera Tools in the Netherlands, delivery was quick and they were quick to answer my emails. Could be worth taking a look if you are on the hunt for F-stop gear.

Not much help I know, but they only reliable way I have found is to use Capture One. Have been using it for years and it really is the best tethered solution.

I have used a D800 on a number of sliders when doing some review work and the best advice I can give is get one with decent adjustable bearings. With in easy walking distance of Camera World there is a Jessops which may not be worth it, but also Park Cameras which could be worth a visit.

If you are in to Nikon then Greys of Westminster is worth a visit. Plenty of main stream shops around, there is Fixation down by Vauxhall, Camera world near Oxford Street and Calumet near Euston. There are more specialist shops around if that your sort of thing just depends what you are after.
