Ciaran, my niece is in Europe at the moment from Australia and she just uses hostels, carrying amongst other things her macbook, all she makes sure of is that the hostels that she uses, provide individual lockers, not as safe as a safe, but stop the oportunist grab Pete

Thanks Lawrie, in this case size doesnt matter (on of my probs at the moment is arthritis flares, making changing lenses etc difficult) And we may be off for two weeks camping, so my ruck with a body spare batts, 4 lenses etc is just not practical :nono:

I would love to take my D300 & all of my kit, but for many reasons, including medical, its just not going to happen, So I am now going to take what I can :shrug: So help me out choices so far are TZ10, HS10 or P100, iso is not an issue nor resale value as it will be kept incase of further...
