F-Stop (Is this the beginning of the end - I certainly hope not)

I don't want to be negative about all your new purchases and bags. But the famed quality of these bags in not true anymore. The first generation were built to last, but since then the build quality is not so great, especially at this price point. I do have an Ajna myself, and I am happy...

    Scotland Isle of Mull

I'm going to spend a couple days on Mull next month. I'll be staying in Tobermory. If the weather is decent I'd like to bag Ben More. Beyond that I don't have any real plans other that to explore and take some photos. Maybe a few seascapes. Anything that I shouldn't miss? I seen a few...

Portfolio Website - what to look for?

check out Zenfolio and get a free trial. It does a good job for me and it is a reasonable cost. They have plenty customization options. I think the basics are a good homepage, and from there simplicity. I have a referral which gets you 10% off I think if you use it JXE-UR8-EVX As an...

    Insufficient photo resolution- via zenfolio

I think its just automated message from Zenfolio, but it isn't correct, the labs are happy with a hi res photo and for some reason Zenfolio isn't. I think the solution is to change the approval settings in Selling to 'I will approve orders before sending for fulfillment'

    Hoarding files.

I fight a constant battle with space on my various HDs, mostly because I struggle to delete RAW files. I often come back from a shoot and do a quick light cull of images, but then I usually keep loads of average of similar compositions with very minimal differences that I think I might want to...

    Waterfalls and spray

If its just fine you can use a hand held fan to blow the mist water away. But what I do is compose my shot on a tripod then detach the camera wipe with a lens cloth, leave the cloth over the lens as I put it back on the tripod then remove the cloth and take the photo.

    How often do you shoot?

Probably once or twice a month. Pretty poor really. All I really want to do is landscapes and without a car to get about, lots of other sporting commitments eating up my time, I struggle.

    Fancy checking out my site?

Some nice photos there, I'd agree that they're a little on the small size though. But on the otherhand it loads nice and quickly! A thing that I think is missing is the ability to use the left/right keys on my keyboard to go back and forth through the images. Its something that almost all...

    My new website

Thanks Bethany, for the time being its just to share. Maybe one day I'd set up a platform for potential sales...

    My new website

Cheers for that Nigel, its probably something I have overlooked as I wrote it quickly at first and then forgot all about it. I'll sort that out.

    My new website

I made this website about a month ago on Zenfolio which I think is pretty good. I just wanted to produce something clean and simple, that I hope is easy to navigate. http://www.tannachyphotography.co.uk/ Any feedback positive or negative will be glady accepted.

    Black and White Landscape Tips

Are you talking about red/orange filters in the field or on photoshop? At a basic description they just block out red light, which in landscapes usually results in more contrast in the greens and blues.
