Morning all, I'm at a wedding in a couple of weeks and the groom is part of a band who will play on the night. It's indoor and I'm guessing it will be rather dark but I am keen to capture some really good shots of them playing. Can anyone recommend some settings and best lens for me please...

Love this. Treated myself to some really expensive taylormade golf clubs once and hid credit card statement under the washing machine only to get busted when we moved house, wife found statement and threatened to cut my jacobs off - cracking clubs though.

Evening all, looking at this lens on amazon and after reading a few threads on here I've noticed people asking whether it is a "grey" import? What does this mean (sorry to be a little thick), what's the difference and how do I know if a lens is one...

Like that idea, Phil. It's all starting to spin me out as reading loads of different reviews relating to the nikon 16-85 and the 18-70, ruled out the 18-105, and I'm proper confused. I want a nice WA lens and a decent "most of the time" lens and the macro to follow.. :shrug::bonk:

Starting to grasp this a little now, Fracster, cheers matey. I've got 2 zoom lens', one is the 55-200mm 4-5.6 VR and the other is the 18-55mm 3.5-5.6 - would I be better using one of these or should I look for a zoom with a better 'F' rating.... Thanks again mate, you just stopped me putting...
