Thanks musicman :) I'll try to explain my next problem; When I line up my focus point with the split-prism, the micro-prism still distorts but the image looks in focus! It's happening everytime arghh! Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi, please bear with me.......When I'm using my Canon AV-1 f1.4 do I need to focus everything with the Split-image/micro prism rangefinder? Any help would be appreciated.
