Thanks for the advice in the end I've gone for an olympus om-d e-m10 mark iii as the deal for £399 was to good to turn down I think. Also got cashback from quidco. Despite olympus selling I think its a steal. Can't wait to get it now.

Brilliant job there I would be very interested in how you made this, Ive just got hold of some extension tubes and need to get more light.

Had a quick play with the Polaroid tubes. I'm pretty impressed with the quality of the tubes and they produced decent results. I took a few of a coin and they looked good. Camera is only on macro auto setting still getting used to it

I have also brought the polaroid extension tubes, arrived today but like you have not had any chance to use them yet, they are still wrapped up. I only have the standard kit lens and a 50 to 250mm zoom lens so not sure how they will work may have to buy a nifty fifty

I think ebay is now a victim of its own sucess, the fees are ridiculously high now and the feedback system is weighted in the buyers favour and dont get me started on the protection however it is still the only way to get alot of people viewing your item. Curse you Ebay god I wish Id thought of it!

Had my first time out with the camera today, went to the local park with my daughter and got some reasonable shots all using the auto modes at the moment. The park was busy and at first I was a bit self conscious having the camera but after a few shots I was fine and trying to get some action shots.

Not unless I cut the strap and sew it back on. Hopefully Amazon will send me a new on sharpish.

Ordered the same bag off amazon it arrived, looked great but one problem, the strap appears to have been sewn on the wrong way one end and is constantly twisted unless this is how its meant to be? Gutted as I wanna get out and take some shots but I need something to carry it in!
