Of course, you have to be careful on fleabay but this is a very good deal: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170607224338?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 It's a powerful setup and will come in handy on many occasions :)

    Pretty darn good if it's hand-held. :)

    Anyone using the Manfrotto 504HD?

Hi All, I'm looking at this setup (with the 546 tripod) as something I can use for a long time to come. I'm impressed with it's capabilities and yes, it's looks too  But being a canny investment...I'd like to know if anyone has used/is using one and if it's worth the cash? Are their...

    5D Mk2 Batteries

I got two from a seller on eBay and they were fully decoded. One was DOA though so you takes the risk :) Got a refund on both even though only the DOA one was returned. Are the 7DayShop ones decoded?

HD camcorder vs DSLR - which is better

You should film in a flat profile so you have lots of room in post. The 7d has anything but flat/camcorder like footage. Every single bit of gorgeous footage you've seen has been colour corrected etc etc in post. Maybe this one wasn't. Just jump in and enjoy:thumbs:

    Short story from today

Pretty good Tom. Some nice edits, nice shots (love some of the focus shift shots) and there was definitely a story told :) Was the wide angle distortion deliberate? You used it in the first section.

How can I tell if my Canon is official UK or grey import?

Just got this sorted. Calumet were outstanding throughout. I got personal phone calls from higher staff and constant emails from different departments. Seriously, these guys really put up with me and were as apologetic as can be. I believe them when they said they have no idea how it ended up...

Duracell 32gb UDMA 600x Compact Flash - To good to be true?

Thanks guys. The question was more to do with whether the advertised/quoted specs were true. I've found some test results and as hollis says...the 90MB/s is more read. But 47MB/s write on a 32GB card, that cost me £60, is ok by me :) Yes, I went for it in the end lol I was worried they'd be...

Duracell 32gb UDMA 600x Compact Flash - To good to be true?

That's interesting. I'd have thought, even if the Duracell is only 400 or 500x, it would still appear faster than a 133x

Duracell 32gb UDMA 600x Compact Flash - To good to be true?

Hi all, As I've swung from SDHC into the now relatively new world (to me) of CF...I thought I'd ask here about the Duracell 32gb UDMA 600x Compact Flash Cards. Reading around some are saying "Yay! They're great and excellently priced" and others are saying "Boo! They're snail slow and...

How can I tell if my Canon is official UK or grey import?

Some great replies here :) I did think the CE mark would have been on them all. Anywho, I got a good thorough email back from Calumet and sent photos as per request. On further investigation, apart from the old plug thrown in, the original seals were broken and someone had made the effort to...

How can I tell if my Canon is official UK or grey import?

I've just register it but to be fair it doesn't reject it even if you put in nonsense (I tried) :) I bought online as there isn't a local one near me. I've emailed them and I'll see what they say. It's clearly meant for the continent but if I'm covered by the correct UK warranty and...
