Well I did wear a pair of Latex disposable gloves on the day, but they just wernt enough, I,m a mechanic and wear them all the time for work. Thanx for all the help folks,but my other half has decided to completely ignore all your tips and has already orderd me some, lets see what santa brings...

Been using latex one,s, black powderless, not bad if its just cold, really do help, but I want something for really cold shoots. Nice light trail by the way, love the curve. . . .

Well as I understand it you cant with a 5d classic, I have done it with my old 600, and yes I got a shock but canon are the only ones who can do the 5d classic. . . .unless I,m miss-informed. . !

Well I was going to give it a go, but Bowz convinced ne otherwise, also gonna ask for a shutter count while its in there, never no, they might even give the sensor a clean while they are about it. . . . . never no eh. Dave

Well looks like its back to canon, my great friend Bowz has not only lent me his 650, but he,s going to ring canon first thing in the morning and sort it all out for me, I work in a busy garage so wouldn't be able to get to a phone until lunchtime. . . . . cheers Big G. . :woot:

If there,s a local canon repair centre I would rather take it there, but if I have to send it away I,m a bit worried about how long it will take to get it back, like I said before, I,m going away in a few weeks and want to take it with me. Dave
