Yeh the label is stuck to the outside. I was a little concerned that there was no 'JAPAN' engraved into the back of the box or written along the side of the filter. Everything else seems pretty genuine as far as I could tell from the comparisons.

A lot of the fake comparisons are on the pro filters. I am not a pro lol therfor my filters are primarily to protect my lenses. If anyone can confirm that these arent knock off nigels that would be great. I wouldnt expect to get fakes direct from amazon but stranger things have happened. Thanks

Hi I just received some Hoya filters direct from amazon and I started looking at numerous fake Hoya threads. The copy's I received do not have Japan written anywhere on them - on the filter nor the box. Is that normal for their most recent filters? I also notice that the HMC is different...

Ah ok thanks. Will it still work with the raynox 250 slapped on the end of my lens?

Oh and the sb-400 will be absolutely no use for what i want to use it for? Unless i could mount it to the lens and run a cable to the hotshoe? Is there any such mount available in the Uk. I did a google and couldnt find much.

Hi im looking for some advice on which flash to buy. I have a d5100, nikon 70-300 afs and a raynox 250. Im using my tripod and and using the slowest shutter speed for taking photos of flowers and such. I would like to try to do a few bugs and therefor can not use a slow shutter speed. My budget...

Which of the 2 is best for the 70-300 Nikon lens to covert it to a macro? And why?

Thanks. Basically I'm looking for a macro lens and a general walking arround lens. The 35 can't really do macro but the 40 can do walking arround if that makes sense? Lol I want a zoom lens also but im not looking to spend over 500 on all of my lenses. Preferably less than 500 also lol...

Thanks very much all. Another question I was looking at The Nikon 40mm afs macro lens. It says it is 1:1 and is only £175 after cash back. Is that good value for a 1:1 macro? Or am I better getting a say 18-200 lens and getting a kendo 25 extension tube?
