This grew arms and and legs. :giggle:It's interesting how many different ways we all approach pressing that shutter button. I read about auto-iso in manual mode recently somewhere and have tried it out. It definitely lightens up the few test shots I took in my gloomy living room but I am wary of...

    Article in Amateur Photographer

I am interested in improving my landscapes. I am primarily a wildlife fan but some of the skies in Scotland can be impressive or permanently grey for a week ;).

I read it on a digital copy of the magazine so no link, sorry. I am open to all combos of settings if it gets me a good shot, I was just surprised to see an article that goes against the grain of most.

    Article in Amateur Photographer

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has seen the article in the latest Amateur Photographer (31 Aug I think) about the guy who only takes photos of birds and only used auto on his camera? I was a little surprised as every you tube video or tutorial you read talks about getting off auto and you aren't...

    Kenko 2 x Teleconverter tips

Thanks for all of your feedback. I just wanted to try and teleconverter myself as I had seen mixed reviews on them. I find it far to dark to practice with in the house. I have saw some you tube videos of folk using them outside so I might have more luck that way. The teleconverter was way...

    Hello from Scotland (Fife)

There are a few around in the Fife area. Kirkcaldy, Dunfermline has a group. I don 't belong to them at the moment but I am considering it so I am not annoying friends by dragging them around with me and my camera all the time.

    Kenko 2 x Teleconverter tips

    I have a Nikon D7500. So I can't get a more open F stop than F11? I also have a 200mm and the standard 55mm kit lens. I have a 400mm Sigma, I'm guessing that'll be impossible with the TC.

Very specific phone / headphones question :)

Devil's advocate? Have you been sold a set of second-hand headphones with a fault? If you have tried on multiple devices and they are having the same issue the common denominator is the headphones

    Hello from Scotland (Fife)

I wasn't being nosy :) just wondered. I was doing a course in Kirkcaldy before lockdown and since we broke up for lockdown I find it hard to get you and about and not bore friends to tears 'waiting' on me taking a picture. I wondered if any of the groups would be nice to be a part of.

    Kenko 2 x Teleconverter tips

Hi, I have just purchased a 'KENKO 2.0X TELEPLUS HD DGX TELECONVERTER - NIKON FIT' and I have admittedly not tinkered with it too much yet. It has autofocus that transfers through the teleconverter which I thought was handy. I guess my query is what tips do you have for using a teleconverter...
