    Nikon 70-200f/4 vr

Found two photos on Flickr which uses the D600 + 70-200 f/4 + TC 2x EIII The photographer says: "Testing the alleged performance of the 70-200/4 with the 2x teleconverter (TC20E III)… As reported, it performs beautifully, AF works quite well (at f/8), and it is sharp. The light was...

    Nikon 70-200f/4 vr

The D600 lets you AF with all the TCs, including the 2x TC E series (1-3) I've tried the D600 with the 300mm f4, making it a 600mm f8, and the AF works... That means one can effectively use the 70-200 f4 with a 1.4 or 1.7!

    Which lens?

I was saying that for your 5DIII, you should get both 85 and 135mm lenses... And if you get a crop body camera like a 7D as backup, the crop factor would allow you greater reach with the same lenses. 85 becoming 135 (85x1.6) and 135 something of a 216/f2 !

    Nikon 70-200f/4 vr

Has anyone tried using teleconverters with the f/4?

    Which lens?

Get both! 85 & 135 are amazing focal lengths for photography! ;-) And with a full frame and crop body, your 85 becomes something of a 135 and the 135 becomes a 200/2

    Model Release forms vs. Papparazzi

While out shooting random strangers on the street (who are aware of me and my camera, and have no issues being photographed) I have shot many portraits. Getty, via Flickr, has requested to license them, but need signed "model release forms" and an ID type photo of the "models" I do not...

    copy and paste idea

I remember one of the older MS Office having this option. Everytime you'd copy something. It would store them in a table... Can't remember which version it was!

    Wedding Lenses

If you get the Tamron, get the non VC. Not to save money, but the non VC is better. Less front/rear focussing issues and comparatively sharper... Another body is highly recommended, as its risky with one...

    upload a soundfile to facebook?

Soundcloud will embed itself on facebook, allowing you to share audio only... Quite effective

    D100 or D70

I've had issues with the D100's white balance, and even shooting in RAW hasn't helped. Only when I fiddle with the 'tint' in ACR does it yield what I want

Owners of the Sigma 120-300 f/2.8 OS

I've heard there's a new version of the OS coming out. Any idea on pricing and availability? What are major differences? I'm confused between this lens and the 200/f2!

    New years resolensons!

I've had a lot of issues with the 17-35 2.8 in the past. Its a tricky lens, excellent range, but should only be bought new, as a lot of used ones have AFS/swm motor issues... My vote is for the 16-35/4! Stunning piece of glass...
