Update on my query re recommendation for who/how to insure my brand new XT1...I contacted my house/content insurers and they informed me that my camera will be covered at no extra cost..in the house, when out and about and when on holiday.....brill

I was speaking to someone last week who said that they'd sold their XT-1. The reason being he'd found that 'when he tried to recover detail from shadows on landscapes he'd taken in poor light he'd struggled with noise'. Haven't seen anything here mentioning that. Anyone found a problem with it...

Hi. I'm planning on upgrading from my little compact. I am very tempted to get a fuji XT1 as it is small enough to carry around more that an slr. What I would like to know is what would I be missing out on by not getting an slr. Any not too technical replies would be very much appreciated :-)
