I know they are a tad expensive, to say the least, but I recently got a pair of Canon 10X42 L Binoculars, and they are just fantastic. Truly amazing.

Has anyone tried the new mark III Canon 1.4X and 2X extenders - much improvement over the II's?

60D for Video, 7D for photography. Is it that simple?

Have you considered the 7D - I am sure you can get them for sub 1K these days. Great focussing and FPS.

Bought a few bit of kit from them, and always had cracking service. Not had to return anything to them, so cant comment on that, but overall, I rate them.

Does anyone else suffer lens creep on the 70-300 DO lens? Is it curable by an authorised Canon repair centre?

I got the Canon 8-15mm a few weeks ago and love playing around with it. Sure, it isnt an everyday lens by any stretch, but it can create pictures that are unique to the fisheyes. I love playing with it.

I love my wacky fisheye!!! Thats not a euphamism, by the way.

I think the 24-70 is about a month away. I saw the 200-400 touted at 12K - wont be getting too excited about that one then.

Canon have definitely submitted a patent for a 16-35mm - I'd love to see that come to market. I use the 70-300 DO a fair bit and like it.

The 24-70 II was patended a while ago, and the price has dropped for the original lens, so I wouldnt be surprised to hear an announcement soon for the II lens. No IS though, if the patent is to be believed.
