Having started this post can i explain the reason behind the question:
I was given a landscape dvd for xmas 'Chasing The Light' which i thought was a brilliant dvd and very informative but i noticed in it he said on a couple of occasions that although he had got the photo he was after certain...
In responce to the quote made by phil v..yes i am new to photography that is why i asked the question.
My intent was not to have a go at photographers but to try and understand how you look at things and pp in particular.
Maybe i should take up fishing instead!!
Thankyou..my point exactly,i didn't mean i would go out taking photos willy nilly knowing that i could rescue them in pp i just think that some photographers overdo it and maybe rely to much on editing software to make compositions look better.
Why take a photo of a lovely sunset for instance...
yes i understand what your all saying, its just that i find landscapes in particular done by the pro's so unatural looking yet we all strive to achieve the same look.
But surely your eye does not see the sky for instance as red with pink hues when in actual fact it was blue when the photo was taken!! surely this is over doing the pp
Hi...Im new to photography and would like to pose the question...is post editing right or wrong.
I ask this question because would it not be simpler to take a 'not so good' photo knowing that it can be manipulated later in post editing.
Landscape photos especially seem over done and unatural...
Hi...I want to purchase a lens cleaning cloth but unsure which to buy.
I understand some have chemicals in them and obviously do not want to damage any of my lenses

Yes my nikon is APS-C censor and im currently using a sigma 18-200mm OS lens which im very happy with..excellent quality lens
Will look at the sigma 10-20mm you mentioned
