    Review of £66 ebay ringflash

There is a review here as well if this helps. I have just ordered one, they seem ok for the price as long as they are used as intended. Thanks for the review Dave.

    gels - good selction pls

Sorry, seems the comparison page I set up must have expired. Try this one. The multipacks are near the bottom. If you are still unable to find them they are listed under PA, Disco & Musical Equipment or search for Chris James Lighting Filters.

    gels - good selction pls

I get mine from here. A good selection in each pack and can be cut to any size. (Each gel is 12" x 12" and there are 12 different colours in each pack). Hth

Calling all Sony Alpha users! (Part 4)

Correct, The phase detection focus sensors are mounted in the top of the mirror box (where the pentaprism/pentamirror should live for an ovf) instead of in the bottom off the camera. So the light/image path which would be used for an ovf is directed into the sensors from the mirror. HTH

Are the Op tech pro straps any good?

Just to add, I sometimes have binoculars on the one side & camera on the other, this is great as they don't interfere with each other so no damage through swinging into each other while out walking.

Calling all Sony Alpha users! (Part 4)

If you check here you can see how they compare to other similar lenses. All the Minolta lenses with the AF label will work on the Sony bodies. HTH

Are the Op tech pro straps any good?

I also have 2, one on each body and when using both bodies together i use the dual harness which is an excellent piece of kit and so easy to use with the quick release clips.

Haven't really used them with modelling lights but if you read here they are rated up to 180°C.

Matt, looking at the sellers feedback on the first linked item they don't seem that good. (see the sellers neutral feedback list).
