Beginner When to use which mode (M/A/S)?

Makes two of us then. I remember so clearly stressing over the basic techniques to the extent that I ended up taking some correctly exposed and everso boring pictures - By the way @Bondservant , I'm not implying that you are taking boring pictures.... Go and enjoy taking pictures of whatever you...

Hmm. Not sure I'd call that noisy enough to disturb anyone on the streets!

Interesting - the review I read said it was noisy, maybe that was a faulty one.. https://davecarllawrence.com/blog/choosing-a-27mm-pancake-lens-fujifilm-ttartisan-voigtlander

Just had a quick look at it - it's tiny! Deffo on my list, along with the TT Artisan which is manual focus. Thanks PW!

The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

I've always been a fan of zoom lenses but feel that maybe I should try a pancake lens for a bit of street photography. So.... What's a cheap, ideally autofocus lens of about 25 - 27mm. All I've read about the fuji 27 is that it's focus is very noisy which doesn't sound ideal. Maybe I should...

High-end bridge cameras: Sony RX10, Panasonic FZ1000 etc

An update to this. I've just had a final invoice for the repairs of £278, so a lot less than expected. This includes return postage.

Customer loyalty, a thing of the past?

We've just been through the same thing with bt wanting 3 times the price for a third of the speed so have gone with Vodafone. 6 sims with ee for many years but they are 30% more than 1p mobile. Finally, after 15 years the AA wanted to increase my breakdown from £168 to £281. We've never had a...

Death of a loved one, and how to deal with it? [sensitive]

I can't press the' like' button because there is nothing to like, but so get your last few lines. Today I've been clearing out the last of mum's things from her house ready to hand over the keys tomorrow. We went to a local place for some lunch and the owner came over to have a chat with us...

High-end bridge cameras: Sony RX10, Panasonic FZ1000 etc

I've been quoted £440-ish to sort an electrical fault. Seems like a lot but the camera is worth nothing if it doesn't work.. Wish I'd sold it a few months ago before this happened (that said it would weigh heavily if I had and knew about it..) Might have to sell it once it comes back.

    A slightly random question...

A friend of mine was a chef there, but I'm taking about before you moved to the area. I did go back a couple of years ago to see the house I grew up in. I knocked on the door to ask if I could wander around the garden (we had an old farmhouse, so it was actually a field) and an elderly lady...
