Hello Matthew! Welcome! Hope your enjoying your new camera, I only live 10 minutes down the road from you in bargoed, this place is a world of knowledge hope you enjoy it as I have,
Bought my manfrotto 190xprob from there a week ago, reserved online, cheapest anywhere I could find, especially with a 5% tripod discount code, and staff were brilliant. It's usually my luck to have trouble ordering stuff... :/
I hope they have a better idea than to just shut it down for a few hours! :/ that's a lot of angry customers...
Maybe all auctions ending inside the maintenance time will be "paused" until service is resumed?
Bought myself a manfrotto today, it's much much harder choosing one than it was paying for it! Seriously is a mine field! There's loads of info out there, google is your friend! :) all the best!
Just got back from my local jessops, picked up the manfrotto for 95 quid, ( with 5% off code) and a 496rc2, for 55, I love it, and jessops Cardiff were super helpful, thanks for all your help and advice guys! :)
Ill really tempted by this, my partner has a htc one and I love it, most definitely my next phone, refreshing change from my continuous "zombie like" walk to the phone shop for the latest iPhone..... 😄
Sorry for my imperial calculations as I said, never taught them, and ever used them, and your terminology is far better than mine yes there both as accurate as each other, but metric is more accurate on metrology equipment.
Sorry my bad again! I missed out a zero! I agree a analog micrometer will measure in thousandth of an inch, I meant to write 0.00005in! ( Half a thousandth) Which is what my digital mic will now measure, compared to a metric measurement of 0.0001, basically there is a discrepancy in accuracy...
