Travel / Go anywhere without changing lenses (small)

Hi all, I appreciate threads like this come up quite often, but I hope you don't mind my version of a theme! I've enjoyed travel and landscape photography for a number of years, but the last 5 or so, I've done less and found myself leaving my gear at home more often than not. Or leaving in my...

The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

Thank you. The beach was the 23F2, the others 35,1.4 and the the close up of the castle was the 14mm. The beach is in East Lothian and the castle is Dunstanburgh in Northumberland.

    Upgrade XT-1

Hi all, I've had my XT-1 since not long after launch and used it mainly for landscapes were it did a great job. These days, not getting so much time for landscape and shoot more with my Rx1R and M9. Mostly family days out, with dog, portraits etc today. I find the autofocus on all of these...

    What to take, Goa

Thanks all. I think it will be the Sony pair. Same batteries. The XT-1 would be an option, but I think the 18-55 Kit lens would be a bit restrictive at night and with the 23mm/1.4 it is not as compact as the RX1.

    What to take, Goa

Thanks. Sorry, didn't explain slow well. I just manually pre focus the RF in town. The RX1 is hard to use manually as it restarts to infinity after power off and sleep. I like the idea is the Leica but night shots at high ISO wouldn't be great on that our the RX100. That's where the rx shines...

    What to take, Goa

Hi all, I've had a bit of a break from photography, well, most fun things in the last year after going through a bit of a tough divorce. Anyway, for the first time in over 25 years, I am going to go on a short holiday on my own.. I've booked a week in Northern Goa for a week and plan on hiring...

    Lee ND Polyester Filter

I use both on my mirrorless, but the 75mm is a nicer size and for Nd grads, the transition is better worked based on the lens size. 100 mm is very big on a small camera. Having said that, the 100mm is required for the Fuji 10-24, do not always possible to use the 75.

    Lee ND Polyester Filter

That's a good filter, but is 75mm. Ideal for mirrorless. But you need the seven 5 adapter. If you are using the 100mm foundation, I'd get a standard 100mm resin.

    Lee ND Polyester Filter

Hi, I've got one and hate it. It's really thin and you need to buy a mount for it, like a frame for an old Polaroid. Easily creases and kinks. I'd not bother! Regards Steve
