I have a 7D no problems, focus is great Battery is great and I have no problems with ISO. I think the 70D has a lot to do with why the SH market has plenty of 7D's

Always use DSC for prints, I had an acrylic done a couple of weeks ago by them and it blows me away when ever i look at it, Is a shame about the collection charge though and think they should drop it.

I would put the tripod in my checked baggage and eliminate the risk of them taking it off you, A tripod in checked baggage will look as it is, a tripod and would not cause concern
