This is incorrect, at the o2 arena "professional cameras" are not permitted, small point and shoots are.

The wedding my wife and I shot in December we used four different cameras, I had two Canons and she used two Nikons. I processed the images using Corel. There is no clear difference in the quality only the composition, which is a bonus. Hope it goes well.
